What Are MCPs?
MCPs (Model Context Protocol) let Julius securely connect to your databases, files, APIs, and tools in real time. Just point Julius at your MCP endpoint and start using your data—no extra steps needed. Each MCP consists of:- Tools: Specific actions Julius can perform (e.g., search your files, query a database, send a Slack message)
- Server: The application or service that makes these tools available to Julius
How MCPs Work in Julius
- Connect your MCP server (see connection instructions).
- Use MCP tools in Julius to pull data or make changes in your app, all from within Julius.
- No special interface—just ask Julius and it will use the right MCP tool automatically.
Connecting MCPs
We support the following major MCPs out of the box.- Notion
- Stripe
- Github
